    Ascender is a lovely studio apartment in the Residence Riviere building located in the South end of Chamonix, within close proximity to the bus and train station, as well as the Aiguille du Midi lift station.

    This charming and modern apartment has a fantastic location in the centre of Chamonix making it a great base for both summer and winter holidays. It is very well connected, with the bus main bus stop only a minute's walk away, ideal when planning your mountain adventures. This property has a double sofa bed in the open plan living room, dining room and kitchen area. There are also bunk beds separated off, as well as a bathroom with a bath/shower option. The kitchen area has seating that caters for up to four people and a south face balcony with incredible views of Mont Blanc. Why not open up the doors and enjoy a meal alfresco or a sunny aperitif. The apartment has all the necessary amenities to make the most of your stay, such as the electric hobs, electric oven and fridge/freezer as well as a washing machine.This property is an ideal seasonal let for two friends or a couple, particularly if you want to take advantage the Midi lift to explore the Glacier. This apartment does not have parking, however there is municipal underground parking and free parking areas close by.

    Summer top tip - Take the Aiguille du Midi upto the mid station and there are many incredible hikes to be found, our favourite is along the Grand Balcon Nord to Montenvers; the height offers an incredible view of the whole valley.

    Winter top tip - Why not take the bus over to courmayeur for the day, it is covered in the Mont Blanc Unlimited ski pass and you can get the bus just round the corner. Skiing all day, finished with a pizza and nice glass of aperol spritz!
