In the heart of Chamonix town you will find the exceptional and wonderful Chalet Hunter. This luxurious Chalet sleeps 10 people in 5 bedrooms, arranged to suit your needs whether you are a group of 10 singles or 5 couples.

With views of Mont Blanc and only a few minutes walk to shops/bars and restaurants this chalet offers a unique experience.

Following a complete renovation in 2008 the traditional exterior has been beautifully preserved but hides a contemporary interior that combines comfort and style effortlessly.

The large French doors open onto a balcony and expansive deck that offer breath taking views whist relaxing in a magnificent jacuzzi to help you recover from a challenging day on the slopes.

Alternatively you can curl up in front of the large open fire with a DVD. This living area opens onto the dining room and kitchen, catering for at least 10 guests.

Split over 3 levels there is a further living area downstairs with another well equipped kitchen, this includes a double sofa bed that can sleep a further 2. Chalet Grand Cru is ideal for 2 families or large groups of friends sharing.

    The Chalet is available for weekly rentals. Our standard period of rental is 7 nights from Sunday to Sunday although we will consider other dates and lengths of stay. 

    Price based on standard capacity of 10 persons occupying this property.
    Subject to additional charge of £100 per person for more persons.

    - What’s included:
    Linen and Towels for standard rental period.
    In resort concierge services. So that you can start your holiday as soon as you arrive, we help to arrange your airport transfers, guides & activities and more.

    - What’s not included:
    Tourist tax of £1 per person (13 years and above) per day, payable with the booking.

    Booking Terms and Conditions:
    Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque, debit or credit card. Payments made by debit or credit card incur 0.00% handling fee. Any charges levied by Chamonix Holidays bank for foreign transfers or cheque payments are at the cost to the group.

    Your booking is confirmed with payment of 30% first installment to be completed within 7 days of reservation or full payment if the booking is made within 10 weeks prior to arrival.
    Your final payment of 70% payable no later than 8 weeks PRIOR to arrival.
    A cautionary damage deposit is required.

    You will be met on arrival in resort by our concierge partners.  They will be on hand in case of emergencies.

    Unless otherwise agreed; normal check in is between 4pm and 8pm and you are expected to vacate the property by 10am on the morning of your departure leaving it in a clean condition.

    Ask for special daily rates or 4 nights stays.

    Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 - 5 all continental double beds that can be converted to single beds. 

    Bathrooms: 4 bathrooms with 2 separate W.C.s.
    Top floor: 1 bathroom with bath and sink / 1 room with shower only / 1 WC.
    Middle floor: 1 WC and sink.
    Ground floor: bathroom with shower, toilet and sink/bathroom with bath, WC and 2 sinks.

    Living Room 1: Open fire and large comfortable L Shaped couch, flat screen satellite TV, WiFi, open onto the dining area with seating for 8.

    The most important thing is that I would rent this chalet again in a heartbeat: either to with friends again or with 2 or 3 families.

    The pictures give you a exact depiction of what the property looks like. It is a very cute chalet tucked down a narrow alley just one block away from the hub of activity of Chamonix. It looks out onto Mont Blanc and the cable car going up to Auguille du Midi. It is neat and very clean. We were a group of 10 male friends on our annual ski trip (25th anniversary) and this worked out fine because all the beds can be separated into twin beds. Add the sofa bed and you can add 2 more people. The only complaints (and they are minimal) is that the chalet is small by our standards (a similar property for 10 in the US would probably be 2-3X larger). One of the bathrooms was smaller than a bathroom you would find in a small boat. Also, it has wi-fi, but it is weak and the signal didn't reach all areas of the house. We learned before the trip that it didn't have a coffee maker (owner are British- so plenty of teapots) but they purchased a new coffee maker for us prior to out arrival. Thanks!

    We had a great time in this chalet as 10 friends on a ski holiday. The chalet was well equipped so cooking was pretty straight forward. The dining area was also nice to all sit down and recall our days adventures (and mishaps!). The outdoor area had a good sized hot tub which was a great place to relax after a busy day skiing. The location was also good, with the train a minute walk away and the town on the doorstep. Rooms were well furnished and good sized comfy beds. One tip is to print off a map for any airport transfer driver as they don't all know where the chalet is.!
