You have a wide choice of accommodation within the valley’s main villages from Les Houches, Les Bossons, Chamonix, Les Praz, Argentiere, Montroc/ Le Tour to Vallorcine for your summer or winter holiday. All of Chamonix’s sports and activities can be accessed from these villages, some more specific to your certain holiday requirements than others. |

If you choose to stay in central Chamonix there is a short walk up a steep hill to access Brevent ski area. There is also accommodation located within a few minutes walk of Brevent’s Telepherique. Flégère is interconnected with Brévent and you can stay in Les Praz (5min drive from central Chamonix) for an easy walk to the Flegere Telepherique. There are other smaller beginner lift areas including Les Planards walking access from central Chamonix. L’Aiguille du Midi Telepherique is located in the Chamonix town right next to accommodation studios and apartments in Cham Sud. Les Houches is a great resort to choose if you have a young family or want ski-in ski-out accommodation. If you choose to stay in Argentiere (15 mins by car from Chamonix) you will have direct access to Les Grand Montets ski resort which in the winter has a snowpark for the park riders and skiers amongst you. The accommodation is within 10 minutes walking distance. Le Tour/Balme is connected by lift to Vallorcine so you can either find accommodation in Vallorcine or Montroc villages or take the local free bus service.
